created to tell stories of past, present, and future.

The art of storytelling can take many forms. From meticulous rock peckings to natural pigment painted on stretched hide. These traditional techniques are carried through genetic memory into contemporary artists like myself. I see my art as a bridge between these two worlds, one of ancestors and one of modern life. I create this connection using bright colors and modern materials to tell oral histories and preserve my experiences as a young Cheyenne woman. I find inspiration throughout all different aspects of my life as a cowboy, painter, sister, daughter, and partner.
